Yes, I’m keenly aware of just how iffy the whole idea of rectifying a birth chart according to the material presented by a chart from a possible past life is, and I didn’t start out with this in mind. I was researching another matter entirely when, in looking at a natal chart from an historical figure, I noticed something: that a client of mine, who has mentioned believing that she is a reincarnation of this person, has an Ascendant that is very close to the historical person’s North Node. My interest piqued, I rectified her chart according to this measurement, tweaking the Ascendant until it was exact to the historical person’s Node. This required a change of only one and a half minutes birth time, perfectly reasonable in terms of the loosey-goosey way birth times are recorded (and I was using the birth time stated on my client’s birth certificate). Once I’d done this, I started checking my client’s major life events of which I was aware against the new set of angles, and I found something astonishing: with this minor modification to my client’s chart, based on her remarks about past life and a hunch (that the North Node was significant), her angles became almost electric–suddenly life events that had shown close correspondences to her angles became exact, and I had to consider that this woman might be precisely who she believes herself to be.
Out of a need to conceal my client’s identity, I’ll not reveal either her data or the identity of the historical person she believes is her antecedent. I will say that I’m aware of at least one other person who has publically claimed to be this historical individual, and I’ve read this person’s analysis of ties between her chart and the historical person’s, and in a face-off I’d go with my client’s claim any day. I’ll also not give all the life data for my client against which I checked the new angles, since some of this would also facillitate public identification. At this point, I apologize for withholding so much, but without explicit permission I have a firm policy of no disclosure, so you’ll just have to take my word for it (or not, whatever you please!)
Four brief examples will suffice; three are the births of my client’s children, one is a major professional accomplishment. I’ll only be noting aspects to the angles, as these are the only changes to the chart other than moving Neptune to the preceding House. The birth of the first child, measured against the rectified angles, gave me the transiting Earth exactly conjunct the Midheaven and transiting Jupiter exact to my client’s ‘new’ Ascendant. Compared to the birth data for the second child, the chart shows Ceres exact semi-sextile my client’s Midheaven, transiting Moon conjunct the Ascendant by less than one degree, transiting Ascendant at the time of birth exactly conjunct my client’s Juno, and transiting Chiron exactly trine the Ascendant. The birth of the third child was also the date and time of the child’s death, and this was especially poignant, showing the extremely personal nature of the event and the lack of change to the public persona (Midheaven); all measurements were to the Ascendant, including Venus exactly conjunct and Vesta exactly square.
My client’s major professional accomplishment, appropriately enough, showed aspects focused on the Midheaven: transiting Moon conjunct, transiting Nodal axis square, and transiting Pallas trine. Though certainly not definitive proof of anything, the correspondences arising from the slight change in birth time were surprising and gratifying in the way they connected my client’s idea of who she was in the past with who we know her to be now.
fascinating!
Glad you enjoyed it, Satori!
