CONSULTATIONS: I’m taking on a limited number of consultations at this time; please understand that this means I may be booked and unable to accept your consult. You must also understand that I offer a personal service, and that means that you are hiring me to apply my time and professional expertise to your issue or question, just as you would any other trained and experienced professional–I not only expect to be paid for this, I expect you to stick to the agreed upon subjects and parameters (the work you’ve contracted me to perform) and to limit correspondence to appropriate exchanges. If I’m booked please do not ask me to contact you when I’m free–I don’t keep a running list; it’s important you know I’m not a therapist, cheerleader, friend-for-hire, co-dependent, or magician, either–if you’re looking for other than an honest and skilled astrological and life-based evaluation of the issue, then my services are not for you. As well, you may not agree with my assessment, astrologically or otherwise–that’s not only your right, but perfectly fine with me, so there will be no ‘convincing’ or arguing in either direction. A word to those who might not understand the boundaries: asking for my time and expertise to be applied to a subject because you are “just wondering” “just curious” or because you have “one quick question” you don’t feel is worth paying to have answered is inappropriate: if the information I can offer is worthwhile, then you must be respectful of my time and person, and that includes not putting me in a position where I must take some of that time to reiterate my unavailability. My time is scheduled and my role is specific; I owe each client my best work, and only take on a client when I feel this is what I can deliver. I expect everyone involved to behave politely and as adults–the only reason I’m being so explicit here is that after about 6 years on the internet, I find that perfectly lovely people behave in ways they wouldn’t in person because of the distance and relative anonymity offered by a computer. It will help if clients and potential clients think of initial exchanges as setting an appointment, and the actual work as the appointment itself–just as you wouldn’t barge back into a professional’s office after your consult, when he or she is with the next client, to ask a list of questions that were not covered (and not intended to be covered) during your time together, you should not do so online, either. I do not do phone consultations. Forgive me, but without setting some very clear rules I won’t be able to continue consulting online at all.
If you are looking for something that is more like a classroom or teaching experience with me, then one or both of the books above may suit–they were produced with the idea of ‘passing along knowledge’ very much as I would approach the topic in a classroom, and may be just what you’re looking for.
If you aren’t totally turned off by now, here are the general offerings–all reports are individually prepared by me, with no computer generated print-outs or pre-prepared elements (text is all original, though a computer is used for chart generation and computation)–as such, they are tailored to you at the most individual level possible, with an effort to be to the point and relevant to your life–if you’re looking for Sun sign emphasis, cookbook style definitions, sheer volume or pages of generalities, my reports won’t be for you:
Consultation in any single life area (finances, career, health, a specific relationship or kind of relationship i.e., ‘Why haven’t I been able to find a partner?”) with examination of the natal chart, possibly a horary (question) chart (at my discretion) and the current transit situation as it applies to the subject–$60.00 USD This can be a ‘what is the situation?’ and a ‘what do I do about it?’ kind of consult. You are paying for my assessment and I will give it–straightforwardly–and this includes elaboration on some of the more salient points astrologically speaking, but does not come with a complete rundown of the whys and wherefores involved in reaching my conclusions (that’s called ‘teaching astrology,’ and I seldom run classes). Sometimes people come to this kind of consult with the idea that they already know what are the important aspects, what are the important transits, and are disappointed when I do not see things the same way, or insist that I tell them what those mean, to prove it doesn’t apply–I don’t play this, so please don’t let this person be you! Recall that you hired me because I might know something you don’t know! If you are unsure whether what you want to know about fits this category, please contact me and tell me precisely what you want to find out about (consults are much more successful when clients are honest about what they care about–the girl who asks about career but is hoping to be told Prince Charming is coming, or the guy who asks about getting a job who really wants to be told he’ll win the lottery, are two examples of people who are bound to be unhappy with the information offered, because they didn’t focus on what they really wanted to know). If you want only the information and advice I glean from your chart and transits in the single life area consultation, with no astro references at all, the cost is $45.00 This is the right choice for those who like the insight astrology might give them but are not at all concerned with knowing how I get the answers! Two areas with no astro specifics is $70
Horary (question) charts are $35.00 and involve me drawing a chart for the time I hear and understand your question. This method works very well for me–all you have to do is contact me with your question, either a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ format, or something that asks about a specific situation, which can have more than one part (“Should I take the job in Spain, or go back to school?” “Did Bob steal my bicycle or did someone else take it?”) I’ll get back to you relatively quickly with an answer. Please don’t try to squeeze a life area question into a horary because of price–again, you’ll end up not getting what you want.
An assessment of the situation natally of any single planet, light, or asteroid (Ceres, Vesta, Sedna, Juno, Chiron, Pallas)–$35.00 We look at all aspects made to and by the entity, its House and sign placement, and look at its overall role/ prominence in the chart–I will ‘read’ it in the context of the entire chart, so you’ll get the full meaning of it as it’s posited for you personally, not cookbook style. This is a good consult for students who are having trouble grasping the role of a particular energy within their own chart (which means you can’t really get your mind around it for others, right?) or for the knowledgeable amateur or semi-professional who feels a targeted, in-depth look at this energy as it manifests for them would up their game.
I also offer Relationship reports which focus on a compatibility and response comparison between two charts. This assessment measures the relationship potentials, what is likely to manifest between the individuals, and outlines both strong and weak points as I see them; this does not include assessments of the individuals separately, and personality facets are discussed specifically as they will respond to the other individual within the interaction. $75
Eclipse Reports will be available starting in late November for the Dec/ Jan eclipse set (if you like you can sign up now–you’ll be billed–the first reports will be delivered around Nov. 27th). These are succinct assessments of the eclipse as it fits into and affects your natal chart. I use a tight orb and discuss how the laser-intense energies of an eclipse ‘light up’ particular areas and energies, and how you can expect these to play out over the following six months, through to the next eclipse set. No other matters are covered in this report; however, I often include brief information or comments on natal or transiting components that may impact the eclipse picture, though are not directly related to the eclipse itself. This report is prepared completely by me (as are all my reports); there is no computer generated or pre-prepared material–that means the report is not lengthy–the focus is on the meaning of the eclipse for you alone. $45.00
